Called to serve, right where God has planted us. Here’s how we put that calling into action in Apache Junction and beyond.
Every week, our congregation serves a hot meal through the Genesis Project Soup Kitchen. Genesis Project is a coalition of local churches working together to provide meals, showers, clothing, and medical services to those in need throughout the Apache Junction area.
We’ve built a lasting partnership with Desert Vista Elementary and the Apache Junction School District, volunteering as reading tutors, putting books in the hands of kindergartners, and supporting the Arizona Lutheran Scholarship Organization, which funds students attending Lutheran schools across the state.
Mountain View maintains a scholarship fund for anyone pursuing full-time ministry — whether as a pastor, deaconess, teacher, or other professional church worker. More details are available on our Scholarship page.
